Racer Category – IBU or Novice

IBU: Racer must be ‘Red Book’ certified to carry rifle in competition. If you wish to ‘race up’ please register for the category/distance you wish to race (see below). U16 racers use ‘Rack’ procedure in range.

Novice: Racers DO NOT carry rifle in competition. Range Rifles available or approved personal rifle may be used. Personal rifles must be delivered to shooting point by coach for each shooting bout.

NOVICE CLINIC REQIRED FOR ALL FIRST TIME RACERS.

ALL NOVICE RACES ARE SPRINT FORMAT. PRONE SHOOTING ONLY. PENALTY LOOP. 4.5KM TOTAL DISTANCE (3x1.5KM).

Please Note:

Trail fees are NOT included with race registrations. The US Forest Service requires that all participants have valid Rendezvous Ski Trail passes in their possession. Trail passes can be purchased at the trailhead and USFS personnel will be present to enforce the trail fee regulations.

Daily passes are $8 each, season passes are $40 each, and family season passes are $75.
